Television Bomb

“Boys don’t drop that TV! If you do it will blow up…just like a bomb.”

Verdict: Semi-Factual

Ok…so, yes…older TVs with the tube lamps in them can technically explode if dropped from a high enough location. But the issue here is the use of the word “bomb”. Dad repeatedly insisted (basically) that the TV was a bomb and if we dropped it we would all explode. With that said, however, I gotta admit this was pretty brilliant. I wouldn’t want my boys dropping my TV either. And as much as I want the stick-outs to stop with my generation, I may be using this one if I have kids that help me move one day.
