The Sugar-Hyperactivity Myth
“They’ve done studies…sugar has absolutely no affect on children’s hyperactivity”
Verdict: Surprisingly True
I was absolutely shocked to hear that this one wasn’t a complete fabrication. As clearly outlined in this WebMD article, sugar apparently has been shown to have little to no affect on a child’s hyperactivity, contrary to popular belief. Unbelievable.
Here’s a quote from that WebMD article that sums it up:
“…the majority of studies so far haven’t found a connection, and most in the medical industry maintain there is no known link between sugar and hyperactivity.”
